Handcrafted WWII Luftwaffe airfield display base, designed to work with aircraft models in both 1/72 and 1/48 scale.
The base measures 25 x 25 cm (9.84 x 9.84 in) and represents a weathered concrete dispersal / hardstand surrounded by natural grass. The concrete surface has been individually painted and weathered with tonal variations, staining, dirt and subtle earth effects to recreate the appearance of a well-used wartime airfield.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 shown in the photos is 1/72 scale and is included only to demonstrate the size and appearance of the base with an aircraft in position.
Handcrafted 1/72 scale Soviet airfield display base, inspired by the characteristic PAG-14 prefabricated concrete slab surfaces used on Soviet and Eastern Bloc military airfields.
The base measures 25 x 25 cm (9.84 x 9.84 in) and features individually weathered concrete sections, expansion joints, oil and operational staining, a yellow guidance line and a grass verge. It also includes 1/72 scale ground equipment and airfield accessories, as shown in the photos, giving the base a complete and realistic operational appearance.
The real PAG-14 was a heavy reinforced-concrete aerodrome slab measuring approximately 6 x 2 metres, specifically designed for prefabricated airfield pavements.

The base measures 30 x 25 cm and features individually detailed and weathered wooden planking, realistic earth textures, scattered stones and irregular grass growth, creating the appearance of an improvised operational airfield.
Designed specifically for 1/48 scale single-engine WWII aircraft, it is ideal for displaying models such as the Fw 190, Bf 109, Spitfire, Hurricane, P-40, P-47, P-51, Typhoon and other similarly sized aircraft.
