At LM Decals we have a passion for markings. We believe markings are very important for a finished model's appearance and that an interesting and original set of markings can make a relatively commonplace model stand out.

25th March 2021 was not only Independence Day for Greece but also the 200th anniversary of Greek independence. LM Decals is proud to have been be part of the team that applied the special anniversary finish to the M113 for the 25th March, Independence Day parade along with IPMS Hellas and Icarus workshop. The real markings were self adhesive vinyl which has a natural sheen. Τhe modeller can simulate the same effect by retaining the decals' natural sheen.

For this set the original artwork by Icarus Workshop was used, in other words the same artwork that was used for the real thing ! You can't get any more accurate than that!

The GMC CCKW 353 2.5 ton truck, CCW 353 2.5 - 5 ton truck, GMC CCKW 353 750 gal fuel tanker, Dodge WC 62 6x6 truck in Hellenic service. The GMC truck, in its various versions served with the Greek armed forces from the late 1940s until the early 1980's!

This updated and revised edition set of decals provides markings for 14 different colour and marking's schemes for 13 different vehicles which saw service with the Hellenic Army and the Hellenic Air Force. Markings for the Dodge WC-62 6x6 truck of the Hellenic Army are also provided.

This set provides generic markings for fuel types, tire pressures, jerry-can contents, warnings, helmet markings, etc, as well as prefixes and numbers for Hellenic Army registration numbers from 1950 to 1967. The numbers are also suitable for many WWII and post war US and allied vehicles.

Note: Many of the markings can also be used on 1/87 models, depending on the size of the vehicle.

This updated set contains markings for 7 specific vehicles plus numbers and blank number plates to build any Leopard 2 tank currently in service with the Hellenic Army. Both types carry a number of warning and instruction inscriptions on their horizontal surfaces, not normally visible from a distance and all of these are included in this set.

Both types of the Leopard 2 in Hellenic Army service is finished in a unique and very distinctive four colour camouflage scheme.

The M24 Light Tank in Hellenic service - The M47 Medium Tank in Hellenic, Turkish and Cypriot service

This set provides 16 markings variations for 15 different vehicles.

King Cobra was a gun truck built by the 8th Transportation Group. A M113A1 APC hull was mounted on a 5-ton M54 of the 27th Transportation Battalion. King Cobra was armed with a .50-cal machine gun in an ACAV (armored cavalry assault vehicle) turret, which at some point in its career was painted in American flag colors.

The APC hull, and the truck itself, were black. Based on photographic evidence King Cobra seems to have gone through a number of repaints, each one being slightly different.

This set provides markings for 10 tanks covering all Leopard 1 types in service with the Hellenic Army. These are the Leopard 1GR based on the Leopard A3, the ex-Dutch Leopard 1V and the Leopard 1A5. Also included are markings for one of two unique vehicles, the Leopard 1A5 tanks based on the Dutch Leopard 1V. These teo prototypes were transferred to Greece and have some uniquely Dutch features.

This set also contains markings for 7 specific Leopard 2 tanks plus numbers and blank number plates to depict any Leopard 2A4 orLeopard 2HEL tank currently in service with the Hellenic Army. Both types of the Leopard 2 in Hellenic Army service are finished in a unique and very distinctive four colour camouflage scheme.

This updated set contains markings for 16 different vehicles.

These cover the M48, M48A3, M48A5 & M48A5 MOLF tanks as well as an M48A3 driver training tank and an M48A3 MOLF tank, used for training MOLF crews more economically by utilising older 90mm gun and ammunition. Markings are also included for the M88A1 armoured recovery vehicle. One is an ex-Bundeswehr vehicle with many distinctive German features. The M48A5 MOLF is a unique Greek variant of the well known Patton tank.

The Willys MB 1/4 ton truck, Dodge WC 51/52 3/4 ton truck, Dodge WC 54 ambulance in Hellenic service

This set provides markings for more than 14 different vehicles plus generic markings. It contains markings for Jeeps of the Hellenic Expeditionary Force in Korea which fought under the command of the US 3rd Infantry Division. It also contains insignia for the crew uniforms and helmets. This set also provides markings for Willy's Jeeps, Dodge weapons carriers and Dodge Ambulance serving with the Hellenic Army and Air Force from 1950 until the mid 1980s and for a Dodge weapons carrier of the Greek Gendarmerie in the 1950s.

This set contains markings for 14 vehicles.

The English stencils and warnings are also suitable for models depicting US Army vehicles and are a vast improvement over the markings in the Italeri kit of the M977 HEMTT. Finally markings for the M577 armored command vehicle are included.

This set provides markings for 13 different vehicles.

This is a double set which provides number in 4 different fonts, 8 different prefixes and "S" suffixes for Hellenic Army registration numbers from 1950 to 1967.

The numbers and "S" suffixes are also suitable for US vehicles both WWII and post-war.

This set includes numbers, blank number plates, national markings, maximum speed signs, maintenance day markings, bridging class discs and coolant warning labels for Hellenic army, air force and navy vehicles. Also included are insignia for the Hellenic Navy and Air Force. The white EA and EX number prefixes can be used on the black number plates in conjunction with set LM 35008. The national insignia cover all periods from 1945 to the present.

This set provides markings for 16 different vehicles serving with the Hellenic Army, Air Force and Navy.

This set covers vehicles used by the Greek Cypriot National Guard from its establishment in 1960 until 1975. Types covered are the Daimler Dingo scout car, Marmon Herrington MK IVf armoured car, BTR-152 APC, T-34/85 tanks as well as the Land Rover and the ZIL-157 truck.

During the Greek Civil war (1945-1949) the Hellenic Army used the British 25pdr, towed by Morris Commercial Quad gun tractors and 5.5" guns, towed by AEC Matador Artillery tractors. The artillery also and used universal carriers as observation vehicles and various types of motorcycles for liaison duties.

This set of markings allows the modeller to build all the above types of vehicles including both early and mid production Matador gun tractors and Morris Commercial Quads.

Most Hellenic army armoured vehicles carry a tactical plate holder on both sides. This is a square 40 cm x 40 cm frame which holds four metal plates that can display three shapes in orange or magenta. These are used during exercises to designate "friendly" and "enemy" forces and formations or units.

This set contains 2 pairs of resin tactidcal sign holders. The resin parts are enough for two vehicles. This set may be used in conjunction with sets LM 35010 and LM 35010-2 or on its own.

This set provides four photo etched metal icons, enough to complete four different models.

All Greek artillery pieces, both towed and self propelled carry a unique marking in the form of a brass icon of St. Barbara who is the artillery's patron saint. This marking can be found on all artillery pieces in service with the Hellenic Army and the Greek Cypriot National Guard.
